About Fred Whitlock

Fred has been in the business of helping individuals access their retirement monies tax deferred and penalty free for over 9 years. I decided to go completely on my own in July of 2009. I am associated with Monty Walker, CPA and Principal of Walker Business Advisory Assoc. Monty is Trustee and Administrative Fiduciary of the Entrepreneur Retirement Plan of America (ERPA), a safe harbor 401(k) plan.

ERPA is specifically designed to enable the plan to invest in the qualifying employer securities of the sponsoring  employer.

Its features enable the Plan to invest directly in the entrepreneur’s business. To maintain regulatory compliance, a retirement plan, which serves as a source of business capital, needs ongoing professional trustee, fiduciary, administrative management and investment services. We provide all these services. We shoulder the liabilities and responsibilities for all matters that relate to the plan….. not the client as in other platforms.

About Bob Fariss

I have extensive tax and related financial knowledge of these situations; however, my practice has developed around the the importance of the individual’s personal capabilities in these situations. The results of this orientation are being formalized in the book “Business Model YOU” and my Professional Branding workshops at UTA.

Sometimes career change is forced; but almost always it’s for the same reason. People are tired of what they’re doing now. My success with business transitions is understanding burn-out and how it effects all those involved. Sellers are often reunited with the passion they originally had for their business and go on to grow much more valuable companies. Buyers learn how to find the right opportunity that compliments their skills, interests, and personality. Professionals focus their business values into brands they can use to unite and expand their businesses.

Prior to joining Murphy Business and Financial I was a principal at C-level Consultimg. Our practice had a focus on assisting C-level executives with compliance and transition issues. This drew me to my focus on working with professionals in transition.

Every business exists for a reason – to serve its customers. People also have a reason to exist; but it’s not necessarily to serve customers. Every life must have a purpose. There is immense satisfaction having a tax and financial expertise that can be leveraged to help others identify and achieve this purpose.
